Barry & Alisa 2016

The past year of 2016 has been a great year for our family.  There are always lots of changes in life.  One of the biggest was Barry starting a new job as Area Manager for Schwan’s Home Service in Blackfoot.  This new job keeps him really busy.  Then you add Marine Corps drill once a month and a Marine Corps Command & Staff education course and well….we are lucky to see the man once in awhile.  :)  In his spare time he enjoys hanging out with his family and buying and shooting guns.  We have enjoyed many fun camping trips in the area and look forward to many more this next summer.  

Alisa is a busy mom of three crazy active fun loving kids.  She works at the Piano Gallery music store teaching music classes to Seniors and selling organs, keyboards and pianos.  She really enjoys getting out a couple of days a week for work and loves being home with the kids the rest of the time.  

Addyson is 9 years old.  She got baptized the beginning of 2016 which seems forever ago.  She is in 3rd grade and loves hanging out with friends, dance, coloring and creating art, playing legos and xbox with her brother and reading.  She is an excellent student in school and a joy to be around in our family.  There is never a dull moment because she keeps the conversation going at all times and in all places.  One of our family traditions is running a 5k on the 4th of July.  She has ran this race three years now.  She loves to be outside and try new adventures in life.  

Garrett is 6 years old.  He just started Kindergarten in the fall.  He was very excited but a little nervous to start school.  He has enjoyed his teacher and making new friends.  He also loves to go camping in the summer and loves loves loves to play legos.  He creates all kinds of cool things like robots, space ships, boats, guns and all kinds of things with his legos.  He loves to play xbox with his dad and play outside.  He also ran his first 5k on the 4th of July.  He did a great job!  

Wyatt is 2 years old and loves to makes the family laugh and cry. :)  He is the sweetest boy most of the time but likes to get a bit violent with his brother and the dogs. Yes, we got two dogs this past year as well!  CRAZY!  He also loves to run away from his mother which makes her crazy but she stays in good shape.  He loves to play with trucks, cars, trains, and ride his tricycle outside.  He loves to read books and color and is obsessed with cows and Peppa Pig.  For his birthday we went to Reed's Dairy and looked at cows.  He was in heaven.  He loves to give his mom snuggles and love and therefore gets away with a lot more than he should.  

Overall this year has been great.  We have taken small trips to Utah for some fun.  We have taken a few trips camping and riding the four wheeler.  We look forward to next year and are hoping to make time for more fun in the outdoors.
