Hello Humpherys family! It really seems like yesterday that I was writing this newsletter. I am grateful we are keeping this tradition and our family reunion alive! I’m so glad we do, so I know my first, second cousins, and aunts and uncles.

Isaac James GutierrezBorn: May 26, 2010 age: 7 months
Place: Layton, UT
Occupation: Music ManMost likely to be found: Clapping, laughing at his older sisters, crinkling paper, banging anything that makes noises, babbling, eating and rolling as far as his 22 lb. frame will take him!
Loves: His toy airplane, being pushed around in a laundry basket, his toy car, and when Allison and Paige plays with him. He laughs when Allison makes kissing sounds at him!

Paige Elizabeth GutierrezBorn: January 29, 2007 age: 4
Place: Ogden, UT
Occupation: Entertainer
Most likely to be found: Playing barbies, playing dress up in both Spider girl and princess costumes, watching Ruby and Max, attending preschool and winking at the audience during her singing program!, gymnastics
Loves: Playing with Isaac when Allison is at school, CANDY (which I have to hide), her monkey “Ooh Aah”

Born: September 19, 2003 age: 7 years old
Place: Eugene, Oregon
Occupation: Artist
Most likely to be found: Drawing, reading, playing the piano, playing soccer, playing basketball, and playing video games.
Loves: School, friends, church, snow leopards
2ND to OLDEST:
Born: February 18, 1977
Place: Provo, UT
Occupation: RN, taxi driver, cook, maid
Most likely to be found: Napping (whenever it’s possible), playing and coaching church basketball, attending daily classes at the gym, attending to all 4 of my occupations (ha!), and spending time with friends and family.
OLDEST:
James Joseph Gutierrez (Jim)Born: December 23, 1976
Place: Harbor City, CA
Occupation: Engineer, gardner, snow removal man, whatever the “2nd to oldest” jobs she assigns him :)
Most likely to be found: Training for 2 more 1/2 Ironmans, playing with his children, watching his favorite teams, Oregon, Chelsea, and RSL soccer, traveling back and forth to Alabama for work and working on his southern “drawl”.
This year of 2010 the Gutierrez family had a lot of firsts and a few repeats. We spent 2 separate weeks in Park City, Utah, went camping twice (one being with the Humpherys reunion in Wyoming), the 2nd camping trip was at our first Ray Humpherys annual reunion (where we went camping when I was 10 days before my due date), first time we slept in Grandpa Ray’s tent trailer, repeat summer at Lagoon, I took my first Nursing instructor job, Allison did her first triathlon, Jim did his first I/2 ironman and first marathon, finished our basement after 3 long years, our baby has his own room for the first time, Allison started all day school (1st grade), Paige started preschool and gymnastics for first time, and we had our first boy, Isaac, and took him camping at the family reunion for his first camping trip at 5 weeks old. PHEW! What a year!
