Hello Humpherys Clan-
Last year is pretty much a blurr to me and our family.
The highlights were visiting Stephanie and her family in Las
Vegas in last January. Thanks to Kelly and his family for letting us stay with
them. We also had so much fun in California for the Humpherys Reunion. Josie
talked about it for months, she wanted to go back to uncle Newells house.
Elliot went to Canada for his brothers wedding in October and we got to spend
Christmas with my whole family.
·
Josie started preschool again and has becoming less and less
shy. She loves movies, her friends, cousins, dress up and she has the cutest
laugh. She's been riding her bike and is getting
so fast on all three wheels. She colors and draws all day long. She wants to
learn to read and spell words. She now knows how to spell CAT and COW. She
loves school, I am scared for summer to have to keep her busy all day long. She
has to be doing something all the time. I think its just the age. Josie is our
little tattle tell. She'll always tell us if Carly is doing something wrong.
Poor girl gets picked on by her little sister all the time.
·
Carly grew up over night. Some how my little baby is 2 and she
acts like shes one of the big kids. Still working on potty training but she's
almost there. She can talk so well know, and she just learned how to ride on a
tricycle.Carly is such a fun little girl. She
has such a cute personality. She loves to dance and run around in her diaper.
·
I started working at Great Clips doing hair in May part time. I
am learning lots of new skills and techniques. It was a hard transition getting
back into work after staying home for five plus years. But I work when Elliot's
home with the girls, so it works for our schedules. I am still in the primary
presidency and staying busy with my family .
·
Elliot plays indoor soccer twice a week. He also coaches young
men's basketball and is our ward financial clerk. He never misses a UFC fight
or Utah Jazz game.
We love you all hope to see everyone at the family reunion this
year.
Love,
Melanie, Elliot, Josie(5) and Carly(2)
