Family news letter!
Hello Humpherys! I miss and love you all. Here is my 2014 update and the adventures/experiences/and life events that happened in bullet point fashion so it's easy to read.
JANUARY
I was on Good Morning Utah for the PFT program at Ameritech.
- Snow hiking
- Attended the Sundance film festival
- Snowboarding
- Sang at the Ameritech college graduation
APRIL
-Damien came out and stayed with me for two weeks. We had lots of fun and did some mountain biking and go carting.
MAY
-Hiked angels landing for the first time in Zions national park
JUNE
- Did my first canyoneering trip in Leprechaun Canyon in southern Utah
- Hiked delicate arch for the first time
- Tried out for the bachelor
- Did a century road bike ride for MS in Logan
- Backpacked into Coyote Gulch
- Picked up my new motorcycle that I had customized just for me.
JULY
My whole family came to Utah for a family reunion. We went to the stadium of fire.
-Attended the Humpherys family reunion at bear lake!!
-Backpacked up Kings Peak - highest peak in utah
- Sang at a youth conference

AUGUST
-Went to a motorcycle rally called Sturgis in Sturgis South Dakota. Rode to Mt Rushmore
- Did another canyoneering trip in zions
- Did Pine creek canyon and Spry canyon- Went home for a few days to visit my family
SEPTEMBER
- Lost my job due to layoffs and budget cuts.
- Competed in the 12 hours of Sundance mountain bike race. This was mostly an uphill race consisting of 8 mile loops and we had a team of 4. Each loop took about an hour. This race killed me!
- I went on a Royal Caribbean cruise with three friends to Roatan Honduras, Belize, and Cozumel. First cruise and it was a blast!
OCTOBER
- Began training a client in her home
- Started a new job in medical software sales in South Jordan.
NOVEMBER
Went home for thanksgiving
DECEMBER
- Went home for Christmas. And began packing for the move to South Jordan just three minutes from Uncle Ray and Aunt Becky's home!
-Went to a motorcycle rally called Sturgis in Sturgis South Dakota. Rode to Mt Rushmore
