Shawn & Hilary 2014

Shawn and Hillary
Hi family!  We were just going to skip the newsletter this year because no one wanted to write it. Melanie is so persistent that she convinced Shawn to beg his wife to write it.  So here it is:
Shawn
Shawn is still working hard at the Sheriffs office here in Blackfoot.  He works on the road and is also still doing Marine patrol which means that he does water rescues and searches.  He likes his job and now has enough seniority to get the days off that he needs.  Shawn became the proud owner of a new horse and a mule or two this past year.  He has been watching a lot of horse training shows and has pretty much become a mule whisperer.   Shawn has also been the coach for Haydens basketball team.  Lucky Hayden!  It is great and horrible at the same time.

Hilary
Hilary started a new job last February and LOVES it. She is now working as an RN at a community health center in Pocatello.  She works about 3 days a week at a super facility with super people.  For the past year, Hilary has been teaching the 16 and 17- year- olds in Sunday School and was recently called as the Secretary of the Young Women Presidency in our ward, she loves working with the youth and is excited about the things that she is learning from them.

Hayden
Hayden is in the 7th grade this year. He just turned 13!  His world is pretty much basketball, basketball, and basketball. He continues to grow entirely too fast and is now slightly taller than his mom. He continues to be a smarty pants and has acclimated quite well into being a teenaged brat.  We sure love him and are proud to be his parents.

Hadley
Hadley is in the 5th grade and will turn 11 in a few months. She plays basketball and volleyball and has been a major contributor on all of her teams this year.  Hadley is such a good little girl. She helps her mom and dad so much and is a really good babysitter.  Hadley is very tough and independent and can load bales of hay to feed the horses all by herself.

Hallie
Hallie is in the 2nd grade and will turn 8 in April. She is so excited to be baptized. Hallie loves to dance and if you are around her for more than 10 minutes, your are sure to see at least one cartwheel and possible a back bend too.  Hallie is an excellent student and loves school.

Hunter
Hunter is 5 and continues to be the comedian of the family. He loves to tease and make others laugh. While he is often a stinker, he has a heart of gold and loves with the his whole heart.  He tells us all the time, "I love you with all my heart, but I love Jesus Christ more because that is what we are supposed to do".  As the baby of our family, he is pretty spoiled. He loves to play mine craft, jump on the trampoline, and he especially loves his dog, Max.
