Linda and Nathan

Dear Family,

            I hope everyone is doing well.  Here is a summary of 2014.

Linda

·         still teaching 1^st grade at same school

·         loved going to Bear Lake for the reunion

·         went on a fun “girls” trip with my mom to Port Angeles

·         2 out of 3 children are gonzo and I love the additional free time

·         put up with Nathan on a daily basis

·         went to lots of concerts-def leppard, journey, kiss, blake Shelton, Keith Urban, and my personal favorite, to look at anyway, Tim McGraw

·         Tim was a girls concert only (me, my mom, Maddy, and Hilary)

·         loved watching Carter play football and basketball

·         1^st counselor in the primary pres.- love it1

·         trying to go to the gym regularly

·         trying to eat healthy- I stink at it

·         had a super fun trip with all the family watching Maddy play ball

·         was suppose to go to Hawaii, slept in, missed our flight, did not go to Hawaii, Carter was more devastated about it than we were

·         Love my family almost all the time

Nathan

·         still working at Union Pacific

·         claims he loves having 2 less children but call them constantly

·         surprised Maddy and showed up to one of her games in Port Angeles

·         went to the Championship football game in Texas without me

·         surprised me with a fun trip to California to watch the Rose Bowl

·         planned all of my concert trips

·         took Carter to Louisiana to watch LSU play football for Carters birthday

·         played one game of church ball, was kicked out

·         is not allowed to play ever again

·         gave up BYU football season tickets this year so we could be to all of Trae's ISU games

·         bought a new truck that he has wanted for 20 years, and it sits in the garage and no one is allowed to drive it

·         planned a fun spring break vacation to Disney World

·         now that I'm typing this out I have realized he needs to cut down on the trips

·         he also took my dad on a trip to watch Maddy the year before

Trae

·         going to ISU

·         Plays on the football team

·         just received a FULL RIDE scholarship for football

·         the coaches really like him and how hard he works

·         he will be playing Quarterback

·         loves the little cousins and is a great big cousin

·         dominates the church basketball league

·         played on same team that Nathan played on

·         went on a fun basketball recruiting trip with grandpa

·         was offered scholarships for two schools before he decided to play football at ISU

·         one of the teams was Peninsula where Maddy is now

·         they got to stay a few days with Maddy at her apartment

·         grandpa taught Maddy and all her roommates how to play Hearts

Madison

·         Finished up her second year at Peninsula College in Port Angeles

·         had a great season

·         lead her team in scoring

·         was a great leader

·         lead her team to their first NWAC championship win

·         she received MVP for the whole tournament

·         she also received MVP for the Northern Region

·         misses her family

·         wants to play 2 more years

·         is undecided where she will go

·         got to see Katie when she was serving her mission

·         Tim McGraw, oh Ya!!!

Carter

·         transferred to Snake River High School this year and loves it

·         started on the JV football team as the running back

·         went undefeated

·         played on the JV basketball team

·         started for part of the season

·         only lost 1 or 2 games

·         his academics are really good this year, he is working hard

·         went to Mesa State basketball camp

·         LOVED his LSU trip with his dad (2013)

·         has lots of friends

·         serves as secretary in his priest quorum

·         got his drivers license

·         he also loves his “me” time from 2 less children in the house

·         refuses to cut his hair

·         claims the girls like it long-BARF
